Nature of this service

lighthours is a non-commercial, open source project. Nothing is sold, no advertising is served and no data is passed on. It is operated at the operator's own expense; the donation button is voluntary and creates no contractual relationship.

Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

Liability for content

The calculated light times are based on standard astronomical methods and are provided to the best of our knowledge. No warranty is given as to their correctness, completeness or availability. Anyone planning appointments that depend on these times should verify them if in doubt.

This website links to external services in a few places. We have no influence over their content and accept no responsibility for it. The respective provider is always responsible for the content of linked pages.

The lighthours source code is licensed under the MIT License and may be used freely. This does not cover the name “lighthours” or the logo. Place data comes from OpenStreetMap and is available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
